I tried installing W7 on my Dell XPS 1210, but noticed problems with its graphics drivers. Firstly, enabling aero made moving windows incredibly slow! (much slower than was on Vista). When I check the WEI, it said that I only got a "1" on the "graphics" subscore. I got the nvidia driver from windows updates, so I supposed that it was properly tested. I tried the driver from Nvidia's website to no avail either. Any ideas?

GeForce 7400 GO Drivers:
nVIDIA ForceWare v179.48 (Windows 7 32-bit) >>> http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/179.48/179.48_notebook_winvista_32bit_beta.exe
nVIDIA ForceWare v179.48 (Windows 7 64-bit) >>> http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/179.48/179.48_notebook_winvista_64bit_beta.exe
Maybe you had forgotten to download the GeForce 7400 GO driver. GO is different than teh normal drivers. -
This is the one I downloaded: http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winvista64_179.48_beta.html It should be the latest - 179.48

I just read a few threads with people having similar problems with the GO 7400 in Windows 7 x64. Things to try: update your BIOS and/or install in Vista compatibility mode.
Gefore Go 7400 support
