Only US residents....I want globalism
-
lol i hate contests that are only open to the US Residents xD i might've been in Scott's shoes and won that notebook..or vista ultimate..lol
-
-
LOL @ poor outsiders
-
So, by letting Microsoft spy on you indefinitely, you get a free program?
-
Undacovabrotha10 Notebook Evangelist
So, if you enroll in this program you get a free copy of Vista Ultimate?
-
idk about this. if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
-
You need a copy of windows vista to start with though...?
-

Fine...I registered and took the 15 minute initial survey....what next ?
-
i was reading the rules..it didnt say ANYTHING about giving anything away for free though..did i misread something?
-
You have to sign up for the automated feedback program. From the second page on the site: "By signing up for both programs, you are eligible for a free product."
To those who doubt the veracity, MS did something similar before Vista launched. They had business users watch 4 webcasts and gave them the option of Office 2007 or Vista Business. That's how I got my copy of Vista. -

I think its legit, I was about to sign up, but I don't really need any of those, and would just as soon not run extra software for 3 months. I have Office 2007 Enterprise, and Vista Ultimate, so no big deal to me that I can get them free (I have them free from my University).
-
They do give out stuff from time to time. I got Visual Studio 2005 Standard free for looking at 2 webcasts.
-
So I guess for those of us that are running XP are pretty much screwed... nice.

ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
Bah, that was a breeze.
I do 8-15 surveys a day as my "part-time" job. It's basically written in the same code.
Can't wait until I get my free Windows Vista (32/64-bit) disk... -

just joined... Let's hope that Microsoft keeps its word.
-
i fig i dont have anything to lose so i joined. do they keep track of how long we have been enrolled and send us our product after 3 months?
-
CalebSchmerge Woof NBR Reviewer
Yep, thats what it says. 3 months of (hopefully safe) data mining and then you get a fee product.
-
Darn!!! I need two computers running vista...I only have one
-
not sure i want microsoft having access to my stuff for 3 months
-
Does U.S. resident mean, that I need to be a U.S. citizen or is it enough to live within the US?
-
-
well i just did everything...i hope this isn't a scam because i was going to get home premium from basic but if i can get this then i can wait
-
@theZoid: I enrolled and I guess you do not get a confirmation that everything is ok but the fact that you download the feedback tool.
I went for office ultimate since I got Vista Ultimate already... and the german language pack is quite cheap -
I am not going to keep dreaming about the free office ultimate 2007 (which I like) for 3 months. I took the survey, but after that decided not to download the tool.
-
I just got vista ultimate 64 and 32 bit discs in the mail!!!!
-
How long were you enrolled in the program? It looks like most of us have to wait 3 months.
-
I'm still wondering this too
-
I mean, I'll definitely fulfill my part and finish the program, but it would be nice if I get my gift a little early.
-
since the beginning of november.. about a month and a half...AND i only used my computer for about a week after enrrolling
-
I've been on the program since the last of November right before the cutoff. I have some questions for those who have been on the program for a while.
1) Is it true once you are on the Windows Feedback Program, Microsoft will automatically contact you for future surveys and gifts?
2) Since my initial enrollment I took the first survey and haven't seen anything since. How many surveys did they send you to respond? -

2. 1 -
How long did you have to wait for the next survey? It's been three weeks now. -
I haven't gotten my gift yet, but I did get an offer for buy one get one free Ultimate, which I gladly did since a friend got Vista Ultimate for Christmas
-
-

don't worry about it. -

Just get the driver from Intel's website. -
Ooh one last question did Microsoft send you retail versions of Vista or was it OEM? -
Patrick Y. Go Newbs! NBR Reviewer
Retail I believe.

Jayayess1190 Waiting on Intel Cannonlake
I just recieved my Office 07 disc!
-
Is it retail or OEM? How long were you on the program and how many surveys did you have to fill out? -
Guys I swear Microsoft pulled the free gifts as they had too many people apply. It got posted on digg a month or two ago.
-
i got the retail ultimate 32 and 64 bit versions last week from them
-
Oh well, still have XP...
-
UPDATE: Somehow I scored Vista Ultimate AND Office Ultimate.
I was in the program for 2 months (if that) and filled out one survey other than the intro.
Who says you can't get something for [close to] nothing? -

Anyone know if the promotion is still going?
The feedback program is still good, but it doesn't say anything about free software.
Get Office Ultimate or Vista Ultimate for free!
