The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Get better msn notifications?

    Are there any plugin's etc. that allow me to get better msn message notifications besides the flashing taskbar? Programs like trillian have a little flash on the name of the contact on the contact list etc.

    I ask this because i use objectbar which gives me the mac menu bar and sometimes i miss messages because of this lack of notification.

    I don't think so, not with the new MSN Live 8 anyway, I've had a look on mess.be for MSN 7.x addons but I don't think the MSN Plus pack has anything with extra or added notification when you recieve a new message or email.
