    Hey guys,

I installed the beta of Windows 7 and tested it out for a while on a different partition other than my main OS, Vista. However, I then wanted to use Vista only again and removed the Windows 7 partition and allocated the remaining HD space to my primary Vista partition. The problem is that I am still getting the dual boot screen.

I loaded up the Vista Recovery DVD and in command prompt tried the: bootrec /fixmbr, and also bootrec /fixboot commands but the screen still appeared there.

Now I did manage to reduce the appearance of the dual-boot menu to <1second and making Vista the default OS to load by going to System, Advaned System Settings, Start-up and Recovery Settings, and changing that around there.

However this workaround is not clean enough for me and I would like to remove the dual-boot screen entirely. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks guys.

Did you try opening up MSconfig and removing Windows 7 from the boot options?
