This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Getting rid of favourites tiles in Facebook Timeline

    How do I get rid of the boxes in the screenshot I circled? I can add more but I'd like to remove Likes and Photos (since they show up on my profile anyways).

    Click on the pencil in the top right corner of the box and select "Remove from Favorites". If you want to delete specific items within that group, you'll need to open it and click on "Edit" near the top right, then check each item you want to remove within that group.

    Tried that, and as you can see in my screenshot, the drop down from the pencil shows nothing

    Alas, that's the way to do it. Did you try using another browser? I'm using Dragon (variance of Chrome) and had no problem, but you might need to use IE10 or Firefox; it looks like you're using Chrome in that screenshot.
