Reminder Commander will help you create a system of reminders for important events such as birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, important phone calls and much more. Take my word for and don't download this program. It is not that it is a bad program; rather I found it to be a pretty good one with a very understandable interface and it did what was described.

But I find Rainlender to be a better program. Not only is it always free, but it has one key feature that makes it better then Reminder Commander: Displaying the To Do list, Event list and a Calender right on your desktop.

The three things Reminder Commander has over Rainlender:
    1) The ability to remind about an event on a designated time as opposed to just X amount of hours/mins/days before the event
    2) Storing events in a database.
    3) E-mail Reminders

What Rainlender has over Reminder Commander:
    Everything else.

    Oh and Warning:
When uninstalling this program with Revo Uninstaller, I found out this program adds/is associated with 2876 registry values (assuming that Revo is not wrong)! I deleted them all.
