Hey, been looking for a VoIP lately. Looks like these 2 are the best options windows has.
Just wondering if anyone out there has used both?
How does each do on resources, and footprint on your computer?
And, it seems like Gizmo may have the one up on Skype with its all calls free feature.
I usually try to stray away from the mainstream programs out there (Skype), unless it really is great. I prefer open source low impact programs above all others, but doesnt look like we have that option in this category.
So what do you guys think?

depending on how often one uses a product and in what areas! pc-to-phone costs is the ONLY benchmark that i personally need to pay attention to.
Gizmo and Skype (and others) have ***remarks/fine.print that one must carefully needs, amd not just jump right in for the right-of-ur-eyes rate
. connection fee per call - very skype specific ;-)
. "free" calls in Gizmo is defined if calling parties "agree" to use the product in certain term (no idle as one calls it), if not it would nicely slip in some "minimal next to nothing" fees into ur monthly bills ;-)
. other?
but, open source/small footprint app is always a good catch.phrase and marketing gimmick ... i can be sucker for these things

Got an annual SkypeOut Unlimited for U.S. and Canada for $15 in January, and it's been great! Call quality has been 99.9% fantastic.
