    Going to desktop makes Sidebar dissappear..

    Anyone have this happen? I use Flip 3D to go to the desktop and when I do, all the gadgets on the Sidebar dissapear. Is this supposed to happen, and does anyone else have the same thing happen? Just wondering. Thanks.

    The Sidebar by default floats and disappears when you open up other apps or show the desktop. To stick it to the desktop Right Click on the Side bar-->Properties--> Sidebar is always on top of other windows. Or you can just bring it up at any time by hitting Windows Key + Space Bar.

    wow didn't know about the windows+space key...where can i find a list of windows key + other keys that are specific to vista?

    Here it is. It is also in a Help file within Windows. Just do a search on "keyboard shortcuts" in Start-->Help and Support.
