This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just loaded up my old HP officejet 5510xi on my new Win7 PC and am looking for some good (preferably free) software for scanning.

    Any ideas?

    Windows Fax and Scan comes pre-installed, it's easy to use, look in the Start Menu.

    IrfanView is what I use.
