The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    YouTube vid's are busted in mine. 90% of them say "sorry page cannot be.."
    anyone else?

    ^^interesting, yes, i know of a few users reporting having issues with youtube, either stop playing or just hang. I have none on my comp so far

    IE 7 has a "work offline" choice. Cant find it with Chrome though????

    Any ideas?

    Fixed my issue with YouTube.
    I have pretty strict rules on how Adobe's Flash works on my pc, I deny 99% of flash content, mostly to cut down loading ad servers. It would seem Chrome is using my Opera script, once I put Tube ad servers back it works.

    Seems like a leak in Chrome to me /applicationData/user/etc.

    I’ve dumped Chrome, I’ll check it in a year or so.

    I believe there was something in their comic that said that it was removed for security, or something like that.
