The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My manager at worked told me about a pitched idea to have a chat room like system for our employees inside the office. I realize this is a notebook forum but everyone seemed so knowledgeable when I was purchasing a notebook even about non notebook issues that I thought I'd ask.

    Basically my task is to put it together and inquire about security with Google groups. Im doing a lot of heavy reading and any insights on my task or suggestions would be great.

    PS - if you have a suggestion for a different platform then that'd be great too.

    It'd be great if there was an automatic system that records all chat for the admins to view.
