Chrome is just awesome. I don't know if anyone else noticed this or maybe it's not something new, but Chrome is google searching on the fly. Like as I type it will bring up the search results as if I'd hit enter, but as I type more or make changes to the search entry it automatically brings it up in results.

And image search within Chrome is a step ahead too, the way the image expands when hovering over it.

Perhaps it's small potatoes...But I like small potatoes :) These kinds of small advances are evolutionary to the way the web works. I like it.

It's not just Chrome, they're new Google features that work on any browser - rather good though! :)

How does this Instant Search work? Does it use a cache or something like that? I'd like to think that they are not following each and every keystroke.

    I just switched to Chrome.

It is so much faster than IE8.
