Hi guys ive got a notebook with this spec, only had it a few weeks!
Dell XPS 15
Intel i7
4GB RAM
Only had it once but I am a bit worried :S

ALso just noticed that it says power state failure, i did have the laptop shut so it was sleeping i dont know if that changes anything...
Its only happened once had laptop on over an hour after with no problems should I be worried? Also had it sleeping for half an hour with a successful awakening....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi thnanks ive read through it but still dont seem to see what caused it or if it needs to be fixed?
Ive been on for about 3 hours now surfing etc and nothings happened is it anything to worry about?
Thanks for the link i did do a lot of searching but only found examples of windows XP computers and i only searched the .exe not the specific codes, sorry about that.

Googling ntoskrnl.exe brings up software problems. If it happens again I would backup your data and do a system image restore.
NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing or corrupt.
Cause
Keyboard issue
Miscellaneous corruption
Corrupt boot.ini file.
Missing boot.ini file.
Missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file.
Windows NT installed on a partition bigger then 7.8GB
Corrupted hard disk drive or severely corrupted Windows. -
Thanks for the reply, it hasnt happened again ive had laptop on for hours doing photoshop and browsing etc...
Just was a bit worries as Ive only just got it!
So do i do the recover console steps on that link to restore the .exe if it happens again?
