    I ordered it from PCworld and am amazed the i got it on the 19th , I was expecting it on the week following the 22nd release date.

    I got the Home Premium full edition , it says both 32 and 64bit dvd's are included.

    But on the guide on the back it says it does not have Xp mode on the premium edition , does that mean included on the dvd, but you can still download it right?

    We have a possible postal strike coming up in a couple days, so maybe that made them post early.

    It was posted in a jiffy bad and the plastic case at the top was crushed , so re-sale is out of the question. :mad:

    pretty sure xp mode is only available on the professional version and upwards.

    Nope. XP mode is only with Professional and Ultimate.

    I Pre-Ordered on New Egg way back when and nothing has shipped yet with no info available as to when they will ship Pre-Orders as of early this morning. :(

    XP mode is useless unless you have a chip that has Virtualisation Technology (VT) ext. Sadly most chips lack this feature.

    As most people will have the Premium version so cannot use Xp mode anyway.

    unless you install professional or ultimate edition, you cannot install the xp mode on your windows.

    Not so much expecting anything "different", but since Tinderbox (UK) started this by announcing they had received theirs prior to the official release date of 10/22/09 checked BB website to see if mine had by chance shipped early. No such luck. No big deal, I'm enjoying my RC just fine!

    and you need virtualization enabled on CPU ( I cannot on mine :( )

    XP Mode i.e. the licenced copy of XP is only on Professional and Ulimate.

    However Virtual PC itself will run on Home Premium - as will the intergration features, so just source the XP SP3 install yourself and it will work exactly the same

    I pre-ordered windows 7 Professional from Amazon (UK) and got it today also. Going to install it when I get home; don't have installation media with me for things like office etc, and besides, I do actually use my lunch hour to eat lunch most of the time :)

    The person who said about needing VT with their CPU - there are actually quite a lot that have this:
