I have installed Windows 7 64 bit on my notebook and my graphic card is GeForce 9650m GT.
I found terrible bug after changed to Aero theme, it cause Windows 7 to crash so frequently or blink so screen over again then I changed it back to Windows basic and it worked now.
How I can fix the issue for Aero theme.
I use graphic card driver from Nvidia website and it's Windows 7 64 bit.

I'm going try to install Vista driver in Windows 7 and will let you know. -
Ugh, it's still same problem.
I have no idea about how to fix it, video card is too stubborn.
I don't have problem with Windows 7 Aero theme on MacBook Pro since they use GeForce driver. -

You need to uninstall your current video drivers and restart. Then uninstall anything Windows tries to install for your Nvidia video drivers. The restart again, then uninstall any Nvidia drivers, etc. Do this until you only have the standard VGA drivers. If possible, use driver Sweeper in Windows Safe Mode to clear any remaining Nvidia driver remnants. Now go get the Windows 7 drivers from Nvidia's website and install them.
I had the same problem as you until I aggressively removed all traces of old drivers and reinstalled the Windows 7 Nvidia driver.
(Also, in your 'C:\' folder you might see a folder that says "Nvidia". Delete that folder before doing anything else, it stores complete data from previous and current Nvidia driver installations.)
