Hi, I just updated my Samsung notebook NP530U4B (Win 7 o/s) via Easy Software Manager with many updates. Problem is the graphics update forced the notebook into a 1024 x 768 "Generic nonNPnP monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter!!!
I can't update the driver because this is the new one and I can't go back.
Driver version is 8.951.9.3000, dated 18/04/12 (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc)
Can anyone advise how I can solve this problem?
    Thanks ,
    embee8.

Have you tried a system restore, to me it seems like something didn't install properly. I assume you have tried to change the resolution in the display settings.

if you give us the model of the AMD graphics card, we can point you to the right driver. it looks like some samsung series 5 ultrabooks shipped with radeon 7550M cards. this is what i came to when i selected 'notebook graphics,' 'radeon hd series,' 'radeon hd 7xxxm series,' and 'windows 7 - 64 bit' (assuming that's what you have) from AMD's driver finder. try that generic driver and report back.

Hi tijo and all, system restore did the trick. I didn't understand why I would need to do that after an update but should have checked.
    Cheers.

The system restore reverted the driver to the previous version, that is why it worked. If you want the latest driver, use the link mattcheau provided and don't forget that you may have to change the resolution in your display settings after updating.
