    Hey everyone,
I need help badly with my old Dell Inspiron 2500, suddenly, my notebook each time it starts, just stays blacked out, I cant see my login screen, nor my mouse cursor or any other thing, just a black screen. But when starting my notebook using the F8 button, then choosing VGA mode, and it start ok, except that the screen resolution is set to 640×480.

It has Intel graphics accelerator, but I dont know how to fix or disable it, maybe it will fix the issue, or maybe not. Help please

    Using Windows XP Professional x86
    Thanks in advance

Did you hook it to an external screen?
