    Hey,

So, we received a math project last week and today we (as in the entire class) realized by looking from previous years examples that we have to have graphs. :/

The problem is, I do not know of a program that can do what I need (And google wasnt very helpful either). I need a program that can graph revolutions of 2d graphs. Ex. The revolution of X^2 around the y axis. Do you know of a program that can do what I want it to do? I would appreciate your help with this, the project is due tommorrow. (Note: We didnt procrastinate :p , today was the only day we had access to examples). Of course, free programs are preferred and encouraged.

    Thanks,
    Vedya

if you have excel, it can draw some graphs, if you fill the dataset with tons of samples.. i used (or shall i say abused?) that feature sometimes.

don't know real math programs. detlev could help, but he went sleeping.

These are the two big ones :)

(But Maple is around 200 Pounds for a Student license, and Mathematica 100 Pounds for one student for one year or 200 for a home version)

I'd second Dave's suggestion of using Excel if its something you have to do quickly.

And Maple - you'd need to read the helpfile - use the help etc. to get something done. I've got 9.5 available to me... and need the helpfile for most, if you have never used it, its not ideal on short notice.
