    Hi Atom Ant, in to installation equipment package for HP 1012HB driver for win 8 ( 8.1) Vista based, does not exist " hpc1015w " file :nah:
    So, someting other solution :biggrin:

    This is most accurate problem your faced with wireless connection to a windows PC to make work a printer.
    your operating system suggests you to click troubleshooting but it won’t do anything because there is no driver or it’s corrupt. This time we have to run the way to fix it is to get the proper printer driver free download hp printer.

    Dear Atom Ant,

    I've been without my laserjet 1012 printer with Windows 7 for 6 months. Tried downloading multiple drivers. Didn't work. Called HP today. They said they no longer support it, but I could send my old one in on an exchange program and get a $337 printer M401 DNE for only $203... BUT THERE WERE ONLY ONE OR TWO LEFT ON THIS DEAL SO I BETTER HURRY. Checked it out on amazon and found a ton of them for sale for $199.

    Long story short, followed your directions and my printer is up and running. Thanks!

    I followed the instructions - everything was fine until I got to the bit where "Choose printer from list - use Windows update to see additional printers" My HP Laserjet 1012 is not on any list!

    I'm using Windows 8.1

    Haha, thanks for the good words! HP just wants to sell new printers, time to garbage the old ones :(. Nice! Hope the trick will also work for Windows 10, but I do not see reason why not ;)




    Do not use windows update, just keep yourself strictly to the guide! If anything went wrong, delete the printer if installed some wrong way and start again from the scratch.
