Is there a way to monitor the health of your hdd?
I have a Seagate momentus 160GB 7200rpm drive and I've been working it more than I'd like to, having left it on for over a week now trying to collect the Planet Earth series in 720p. I've been lazy with it and left the entire hdd in 1 partition. I've seen other laptop drives fail after a few years and I wish there was a way to be warned before that happens..?
