Ok so I've got an Asus M70VM with an nVidia Geforce 9600M GS GPU and it apparently has an HDMI port on it.

What I'm wondering is can I use it as an input or, like the VGA port, is it purely an output?

Reason why I'm asking is that I would like to connect my Xbox 360 to the laptop but th Avermedia A577 expresscard I have doesn't work properly with it so I thought using the HDMI would be an alternative.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this. :)

Apologies also if I've posted this in the wrong forum on the site.
