    HELP!!! LF laptop won't resume from sleep mode!

    Hi!

    Seems that I left my LG E500 laptop in sleep mode (although I never do this) all night.

    This morning, tried to press on power button to restart and... NOTHING! The moon button is on, but I can't resume, or force quit, nothing!

    Yesterday I installed SimCity Society. While reading on Internet, seems that this could be caused by a videocard problem?

    What can I do? I don't mind uninstalling the game. I just need to access my computer!

    yes! I've pressed many times, from a few seconds to at least 2 minutes. nothing. :(

    Remove the battery and unplug the laptop from the mains until the sleep light is off. Then, plug it back in and try turning it on.

    took the battery out and back in. computer is back on track. :) should I uninstall the Simcity game? could there be a link?

    There probably isn't a link between your computer not waking from sleep and Sim City. It is more likely a one-off, or a driver issue of some kind. If this problem reoccurs, you could try uninstalling Sim City. Alternatively, you could rollback any drivers you might have updated/installed recently.
