Hello People,
I have a big problem! I lost my recovery discs and just replaced my hard drive with a new one cuz the old one crashed. I reinstalled Windows XP Pro on the laptop and everything is working great! Its basically a clean install instead of the vaio bloatware!
I want to know if there is any way to back up my fresh installed system with all the drivers on a bootable recovery DVD Disc? Kinda of like the manufacture recovery discs but my own?
Is ther eany software out there that will do this?
thanks!

There was a post several days ago about how you can make new install disks (images) that have all of the initial windows updates and things like that. I don't remember what it was called, but do a search and you will find it. Your other choice, which is something you should probably do, would be to get some backup software and do a backup as soon as you have everything the way you want it, then you can always use that if you are going to wipe your hard drive, or if something bad happens and you need to reinstall. Also, this way you can do backups, to avoid problems like this from happening. Good luck.

Your best bet would be disk imaging software. See this thread.
