Since upgrading to Vista I have two major problems:

    1. I cannot change my monitor resolution
    2. Every time I dowload updates it shuts the computer down and I have to do a system restore

    Any help greatly appreciated!

Hmm... HP isn't supporting that model with Vista drivers at all... nice... but, a couple of ideas (although you may want to post a similar post on the HP board here to see if someone else has the same hardware config as you and has dealt with the same issues):

As for #1, ATI is kind of leaving you out in the cold, as the 9200 part isn't supported by their official Vista drivers. But you should be able to use a program like Powerstrip to create new resolutions. Grab the latest beta build from here .

#2 is obviously a bigger problem, and not good at all. It would help to know what drivers you are using. Have you installed the latest .inf update from Intel? Grab that from hereand see if that helps at all.

Hope that helps, and good luck!
