I am currently using windows vista ultimate on an Acer Aspire 5560 laptop .....and having windows messenger 8.5 installed ..the BSOD usually shows up when i begin to chat with anyone or trying to use the sharing folder thingi.. I can't grab any details off the BSOD cos it goes away too fast...but if i boot it in safe mode .... there are no problems with the msn but i cannot use the sharing folder thingi....the same goes to the older msn 8 where i run with windows xp a couple of weeks ago ....
