    HOW TO: Fix GMAIL's cache problem.

    Ever get Gmail is having problems cause of your cache bla bla bla.....

    even if you delete your temp files it won't solve the problem....

    here's an easy fix.....

    Edit the GMAIL shortcut in your favorites to:

    https://mail.google.com/


    problem solved! :)

    PS: this only happens in IE

    OMG...I have a gmail account that I never been able to access...and the gmail team could not figure out the problem...how did you come across this?

    It works for me in firefox 2.xx too

    sometimes when you try to access your GMAIL inbox. you get a red warning message on top that there might be a problem with your GMAIL experience and that you need to clear your browser cache....

    that message never goes away even if u clear ur cache....

    what i posted is the fix

    cool if it works, but my gmail already works normally in ie on my laptop.

    even if it works just set ur favorites link to that one it loads much better and faster

    I would think the https would actually be slower, but it is more secure to login this way. My old job, private email was disabled...they blocked http google mail but not the https one...dur...took them 5 months to figure out.

    I thought all web mails like G-Mail, Yahoo are https.

    Edit: Yes they are https.
