If you are pleased with Vista SP1 and would like to delete the old uninstallation files to save diskspace.....
then type the following command in DOS
vsp1cln.exe
Saves lot of space! (Approximately 900 MB)
-
If I needed the space, I'd do this. But, I don't, so I won't.
A neat tip though! -
LOL thanks mate
-
I wouldn`t go there just yet.
Keep it, SP1 isn`t stiff as a rock just yet.
At some point, you might actually have to revert back. -
Good stuff, thanks for the nearly a gig of freed up space
-
you're most welcome!
I mean, even if one doesn't need the space! why on earth leave obsolete files that you'll never need! I wouldn't EVER uninstall SP1! Vista was a joke before SP1 -
for me i didnt find any improvement with SP1
infact if u go to Networking section...my Wireless NIC is DEAD!
HP & Microsoft both called me up to help but failed...
now they are seriously looking into my problem when i told them i posted on NBR.
