Uh, I never have to maximize my IE window...
-
sorry, i just trid this on window vista and it didn't work
-
So...umm...
...why would you ever open Internet Explorer? -
If I ever need to view something in IE full-screen, I just push F-11. I've NEVER had a need to have IE open in full-screen mode. I want the taskbar to be available.Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -

Thanks for posting. I'll give it a try soon.

Before even messing with windows registry, make sure you back it up(file-export)
Also if you found this on another site/forum, please mention them because they deserve some credit. -
you're welcome

I have never had a problem with ie opening maximized (nor do i use it) in xp or vista, but if you do, the easy fix is to right click the icon > properties > shortcut tab. pull down the menu where it says 'run' and change it to maximized.
HOW TO: Open Internet Explorer in full screen mode.
