    Hi Guys,

    I am opening this thread for people who are struggling to have XP installed on their Laptopt that came up with Vista, I recently bought HP DV6654US laptop that came up with Vista and had hell of a time with Vista, Then fought with it and installed XP and its now great to have the laptop work....

    Any Questions on drivers, installation, issues, please let me know and I hope to give you the answers, I have drivers for everything on the Dv6000 Series.....

    Hello Rajkan_19.
    I am a newbie to this forum and I just purchased an HP Pavillion DV6650 and I intend to install XP Pro. I have visited the thread referenced above in the HP section but found it rather convoluted.
    I have not found a link to the drivers I'll need for XP and apparently HP does not provide the option to disable SATA support in the BIOS. What did you do to resolve this issue?
    Also, I'm not sure how to configure the BMR to boot up in XP - assuming I keep Vista installed on the original partition.
    I would be interested in starting a short thread here if you are still available.

    I also have Pavilion dv6650, tried to install XP, but for 2 days now Iam looking for wireless card(Broadcom) driver, do you have some which you can email me? Ill be very thankful.
