    Hello Everyone!

First timer here and need your help! Today I upgraded from windows xp to windows 7. Everything works except for the sound. I opened up my Itunes and no sound. I inserted a DVD and no sound.

Has anyone found a successful sound driver?

    I have a HP Pavilion DV8000 that I bought in 2006.

Can someone help me or advise me?

    Thank you!

Go to HP Support Site choose your laptop model and the relevant drivers will be displayed to you.

HP site offers a Vista driver for the Conexant device. You might want to give it a try since most Vista drivers would work for Windows 7.
