    Hi guyz

well i have hp pavillion dv2000 notebook and it was ready with win xp home edition.
Before i was thinking of replacing home edition with windows xp professional.
so I did that,But while installing a error poped up saying no hard disk found or no hard disk drivers..I think its a manafacturer default or hard disk lock..
any how i want to disable this stuff..
Are there any tricks on that..

    thanks

look in the bios for SATA mode, you will probably need to switch it out of AHCI mode. Or you could slipstream the drivers onto a new xp pro install CD using nlite.
