A simple exe, with a "bechmark" inside and several other things to gradually give you an idea of your machine. Just wanted to share it with you guys![]()

Looks pretty cool. Other system monitor programs do a lot of the same, but it can be hard to find one that does so much in one package. If it's freeware like a lot of competing programs, then I'll probably keep a copy around.

This doubles as a really nice system information utility, actually. The data it provides looks like it's [nearly] on par with what the popular HWINFO program does too (although I have to say, the interface looks slightly cleaner and more streamlined/user friendly). Thanks for the post!

This might be helpful (link showing supported hardware): HWM BlackBox | Özellikler
Also, some users reported a missing .dll file. I don't know if this is prevalent in the most recent edition, but to avoid it, download the program from the developer's site (as opposed to a file hosting site, such as filehippo or cnet).
Does anyone know if there is a portable version of this? I currently use the portable version of SIW to assess system information; it also is included in Hiren's Boot CD. But I wouldn't mind trying HWM out in lieu of it. -

Bit of a thread resurrection - I can't get my HWM BlackBox to validate. Every time I click the validation link I get their login page and I log in, but there's nothing there about validating the software. I'm assuming I need to validate because a lot of the values are blank, though maybe it just doesn't have a very complete hardware database to search through.
Also, how does validation work on a program like this? Since it's just an .exe I assume it must make a registry entry that it checks every time it starts up, but that's just a guess. -

Which web browser are you using for validation? Perhaps there is a problem with the page's script.
Also, thanks for the notification about it being portable! -

You can give Lunascape a whirl. It's capable of utilizing any of the three engines - from KDE (Chrome), Gecko (Firefox), or Trident (IE). That way you don't have to have multiple browsers installed - you can change your engine from the browser's interface.
