    Hanging update screen???

    Hey guys, when i switch on my acer notebook i have a blue screen informing me that its updating 3 of 3 updates yet nothing happens and just hangs?? then it restarts itself back to the same screen?? PLEASE HELP!!!

    I'm sorry but do you understand that there is not so much info written?
    Whatever. If you had Windows 7 it could download SP1 Update which is a trouble. If so, all you can is try to insert DVD disk and use restore point

    I know at least in Vista you can insert the install disk and use the *repair* feature. Good luck!

    This is a known problem with some windows updates. I found an answer by googling "windows 7 hangs at installing updates" it was an easy fix.
