Today, August 24, marks the 20th birthday of Windows 95. Oh, the days of many blue screens, SimEverything being made available from Maxis, and loading files from and to floppy diskettes. I'm sure I'm not the only one who both has fond memories of using Windows 95 back in the day, but could never go back to the days of instability other than for nostalgia's sake anymore.
Nonetheless, I do still use my Windows 95 CD as a decoration on my bookcase, and keep at least two copies of its ISO available on hard drives - because you never know when you'll want to see what's still, to me, the best Windows start-up screen of them all.

Don't forget the fluid sound it presents your ears with when it starts up!
