After having Vista and installing W7, i formated my Vista. But I still have 35 GB in use. I even turned system restore off and i still have the same problem.
-
Please be more specific. How many partition were on your HD and how windowses were situated and so on. And where and what 35 GB are?
-
Recovery Partition get's my guess. Then again, you formatted the drive... When you installed Windows 7, did you delete the partition?
-
Maybe partition was just deleted, not formated? -
when you update from vista to 7 without doing a total clean install all of your vista files and programs are stored in your program folder as windows.old and depending how much you had on there it can take up many gb of space.
