I think there should be a sidebar app that reads the HW temperature values. I current have the speedfan sidebar app, but it reads my CPU Temp as 25C idle and 45C when pushed hard. These values are different than HW which shows 40C idle and 68C loaded(thanks to undervolting). There is a huge difference between the two, and I have to keep opening HW to check up on the actual temperatures (doing a lot of benching, and trying to make sure the undervolt is stable). Also speedfan doesn't detect as much readings as HW.

So, does anyone know someone who can go about doing this, or would be willing to develop such an app?

Or is there another sidebar app that could read out temperatures?

There are such gadgets developed for Windows Sidebar that you could search for.

there are a few sidebar gadgets that use speedfan as their data source. Those are probably the most accurate/dependable.

I have searched, but have only been through one site: I think vistasidebar.com or something. Anyways in my initial post, speedfan is reading wrong temps, which is why i want to step away from it. everest.. hmm, i can give it a try. any more suggestions?
