    Hello,

My boyfriend was trying to do a clean install of Vista and managed to install 2 vistas, instead of just replacing the one. Problem is now, both of us don't know much about computers in this sense, and we need help getting rid of one of the vistas on his laptop.

All the help you guys can provide will be appreciated.

EDIT: Just to make sure, we do NOT want to reinstall it with XP or anything. We just want to get rid of one Vista so we're left with only one Vista, instead of two.

Your best bet is to do another clean install, but this time at the spot where the installer asks you which drive you want to install on, select the option that will allow you to format the drive first. You can do a "quick format" and it will only take a minute or less. There may be other ways to accomplish what you want but this is the most straight forward.
