OK, so I've searched the forums and haven't seen anything about this topic.

I'm using XP Home. When I save a new favorite, I get the icon for that website next to the name. But the next time I restart, it's gone. I like having those, because they help me find favorites more quickly.

    Anyone know?

Thanks a lot to whoever can answer this.

With me, and firefox, the icon comes after I've visited the site from the bookmark.
Sometimes I have to close FF, reopen and open the bookmark straight away for it to work

I'm using Explorer. Not sure which version, but I'm sure it's pretty recent, as the software was delivered in late March.

Try Firefox, i'm sure you'll love it. It should fix your icon problem too.

    Try FavOrg

Internet Explorer saves favicons in your cache and when it is it cleared, so go your icons. Firefox does a good job of saving them.

FYI, I downloaded the FavOrg program for free from softpedia, and it works great!

On a side note (since someone asked), I'm using the XP version right before the one with the tabs. I had actually upgraded to the latter and hated it, so I retro-installed the previous version.
