It is available here direct from Microsoft. Although it says Network Install, it will work - Microsoft states in " How to obtain the latest Windows XP service pack" that if you have trouble downloading XP SP 3 from Windows update you can download and install this one instead.

I think I'm in over my head lol... I',m not familiar with hotfixes or integrades or any of this. I'm trying to follow this guide to make the installation CD the best I can, but sp3 just came out.. so I'm a lil lost lol

Copy your XP cd, like to say c:\xp\data, or whatever. Then, in the command line, go to the directory SP3 is in, and type [the long sp3 name] /integrate:c:\xp\data.
After it's finished, you're ready to burn to cd. Use your favorite burn program, but you should get the bootfile extractor from http://nu2.nu/bbie/. Follow the instructions, it's pretty simple, and use the extracted file with your favorite burn program to make it bootable. :)

Here is a good guide too.

No you don't need to extract it at all. Just point nLite to the file and it will do all the work.
