    Hi all,

I was just changing the target of my desktop folder to my D: drive, but accidently specified the target as D: instead of the D:\Desktop folder.
Now the desktop folder is simply the D: drive root, and I can't seem to find the desktop properties option, so I can change the target.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

    Any help appreciated

    open regedit and go to

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

Find the Desktop key, and change it to what you want it to be.
