    Help! after installing AVG8.0

    my fonts in my msn chatlog became smaller. I opened up IBM rational software and looked up the help file. The fonts also looked real small that i had to squint at it. I think it has screwed up my fonts. I have since uninstalled it and the problem is still there. Please help.

    hmm I think both of the are using IE Rendering engine .. so open up IE session , load a page and see if its small , if its then in IE goto

    Page > Text Size > Medium

    (Hope I am Right :rolleyes2: )

    Well, ms office were, realplayer news viewer was also affected.

    Ev0lutionz, what's the exact program version? (it's usually displayed in the left bottom corner in the Statistics, 8.0.xxx)

    hmm seems like i have uninstalled it.. But after the install, it seems to have screwed most of my microsoft related software help files, msn chatlogs realplayer news viewer and etc.

    yes, it was a known issue afaik - i mean, known also for the devs, who have hopefully released a fix already, but i have no idea in what version. i'll try to find out after the weekend.

    How about un-installing and re-installing AVG with the option of not activating links scanning? A shot in the dark ...
