This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Help!, microsoft apps dont install

    i tried to install Windows live Messenger and Microsoft works 8.0 after doing clean install of Vista home premium but i keep getting this error(see attachment) for the Messenger and a similar one for the Work 8.0

    I tried to turn the firewall off and to uninstall the anti-virus, and i have plenty of disk space

    They worked before

    Did you do something with Visual Studio .Net or .Net runtimes ?
