    Help - services.msc not running !!

    when do run > services.msc it says cannot open this file

    also i cannot open services from control panel > admistrator > services.msc

    What program runs services.msc ?

    Did you do anything in gpedit.msc or disable any services?

    Wow...thanx guys...tht worked....Repped all the posters !! :)

    How did the association break ? Can somebody plz explain......does mmc.exe run all .msc files ?

    You could just set the default association manually in the dialog

    I discovered that problem occured beacuse of CCleaner Registry Cleaning.....This the second instance CCleaner messed up registry !!

    Hm good to know.

    If you save your entries before deleting them (CCleaner should give you the option to save) then you can just restore them.
    Do you know which registry entry is responsible for this? If you do you can prevent CCleaner from deleting it, and this will eliminate the problem.
