The title pretty much says it. I am running windows vista on my Toshiba A135 s4467 and I go to websites such as usaf.com and youtube.com and they each tell me I need to install the newest player. When i install it eachtime, I go back to the websites and still cant access them. What can I do to make this work? Any sugestions will be awesome!

Heres what you have to do.
1 go to Adobe site and download the uninstaller for flash player.
2 Run the uninstaller for flash player
    3 Re-boot
4 Go to Adobe's site and download the flash player.

Thats exactly what i had to do and it works fine now. I am running Vista as well.

Turn off UAC and try it...I had the same problem until I did that. After it installs, then you can turn UAC back on.

Turning off UAC might work, I never thought of that, I like doing things the hard way. LOL
I left the UAC off ever since i installed Vista, It was getting annoying.

Flash Player 9 is a double edged sword. Yes you will have access to Youtube but unfortunately, you can also look forward to more annoying flash-drived adds that talk and send all manner of buzzing objects across your screen - uninvited.

Popup blockers and ad killers can mitigate some of this but not all.

A secondary conseqence I have also seen is increased CPU usage when browsing - because of these flash adds everywhere.

I cannot say that it was a hard desicion to skip the Flash 9 install when I recenlty got my new laptop!
