hey everyone, (this is on vista 32-bit)
so my laptop was running fine today, when suddenly a blue screen popped up saying windows encountered an unexpected error and needs to restart. So it goes through the process and goes back to the original screen that pops up when you turn on your computer originally, then it goes to the unexpected boot screen and "initializes" to 100%, then it goes to the safe mode, safe mode with networking, normal mode, etc screen. Once i select a mode (and ive tried every mode), windows attempt to boot up, but after right during the windows screen seems finished loading, a blue screen flashes for a second and disappears, and the computer cycles back to the initial screen, and restarts the process. I tried to boot the windows 32-bit vista disc on the F2 setup screen, because it says there should be an option to "repair windows" on the disc, which i cannot find. I have no idea how to fix this problem and i really need my computer for work due tomorrow so quick help would be very much appreciated!

AFAIK System restore doesn't delete saved user data (like word documents, mails etc.), it will restore registry settings, system files (driver files etc.) and Programs. Choose a date not so long ago to make sure. Can some one else please confirm this ??.
Either way, if you can’t boot in to Windows, then System restore is the only option you have. Vista doesn’t let you do a Repair Install from the installation DVD as XP did. The only workaround to a repair install in Vista is to do an upgrade (to the same version), but that needs to be done within Windows.
Help Help!!! Vista Crashed, Computer Wont Bootup!!! Please Help As Soon As Possible! Very Urgent!
