I am setting up my outlook express, and it asks me this:

"My incoming mail server is _________(POP3, Imap, HTTP)"

"My outgoing mail server (SMTP) ___________"

I have a "yahoomail" account. Which one does yahoo use?

I also have my school email. I go to georgetown, and the link to my mail has "Imap" writen in it. https://imap.georgetown.edu/

So, Im assuming that it uses Imap, but what about outgoing?

Thanks for the help, in advance.

Without a third party application like YPops, you can't get outlook to download from Yahoo. You'll have to follow the instructions to get it to work. Once you have that installed, you can use POP3.

Outgoing is an smtp connection, but the server name will vary. For instance, my school uses the same server for both (und.nodak.edu).

For your school mail, check with your computing center. They will tell you what you need to do. A school as large as Georgetown will probably have number of servers and such, so you need to be sure you try to connect to the correct one.
As for your Yahoo! mail, I personally wouldn't even try it. You could try YPops, but... I don't trust labyrinthine things like that ;) But then again, I run my own mail server, so I'm just a horrible nerd.

I've run YPops for a year. I have to say I was skeptical at first. However, it runs completely in the background. I love getting my Yahoo mail without going to the site or having the toolbar.
