HI.
So unfortunately i had to replace the hdd in my sony vaio fz 4000. Now i have to reinstall vista on my system and before i do that i got some questions.
1. Should i choose 32 or 64bit, since some poeple i know told me they were happier with 64bit?
2.Should i devide my hdd into two partitons where i have the OS is installed on the first one and my files on the second one? Or juts leave both on the same?
3. After installing the drivers of all devices, which sony tools do you recomend to install and why? I remember firts time i got the NB it was lots of stuff i didnt need and which slowed down the system, (just the sony tools)?
Here some info about my pc habits and system specs:
I usually watch movies, listen to music, a gamer few times a week, surfing on the web, using photoshop cs3 and flash. Stuff like that, but i like to try new pc stuff sometimes.
Specs:
CPU: Intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz (T8300)
Graphicscard: Nvidia geforce 8400GT
Memory: 3GB 667mhz i belive (cant imaginge anything else)
HDD: Seagate 200 GB 7200rpm
Screen: 15.4 inch hi-color
Please help, Thanks for answers.

1) since you have 3gb of ram I recommend sticking to 32bit as it has more compatibility with drivers etc
2)That is your option, if you prefer it partitioned partition it, if not then let it be one
3)Not sure as I am not a Sony notebook user.
Sorry I couldnt get number 3 -
Okey good i will take your advice thanks for answere.
Just a question to the partitioning. Lets say i make one partition like 60 gb and the otherone just the rest data, what difference will that make.
If I say that the first partition with my OS is half full but the second partition is almost full, will my hdd performe better than if everything would be on the same partition? Or do people only make different partitions to separate files and OS?
All the folders that windows creats will be on the first partiton anyway so isnt it hard to keep track of everything?
Help in advance of Vista installation?
