Growing up with the earliest of nForce chipsets, I've had a wonderful life with the excellent audio support that nVidia has provided.

Now it's 2005, and I've graduated from those speedy nForce-based desktops to a nearly equally speedy Dell XPS Gen2....but it's lacking in the audio customizing department.

I've Googled my bawls off looking for info regarding equalizer support for the SigmaTel Audio controller and have come up empty handed.

So, is there an equalizer hidden in some app that just needs launched? Is there a plug-in, patch, or other?? Or is there simply no audio customization allowed with this particular chip??

The open minded guy that I am, am open to suggestions for 3rd party EQ's that adjust playback....not just incoming audio.

I bought this thing to game with.......video end works good, but the audio end is coming up a bit short.

    Thanks in advance.
