Hi, Ive finally made the move and migrated from XP 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit on my Thinkpad T400. Everything went well and installed everything on an Intel X25-M 160GB SSD. However there are 2 issues that is bugging and Im unable to find a solution for. 1st is that on every shutdown or restart there seems to be a app or something that did not stop fast enough so much so that a prompt appeared in a short time prompting force shutdown. Im unable to pinpoint the app as it appeared in a second or two before shutting down on its own. Ive looked it up and found this : There is a delay when you shut down, restart, or log off a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 and tried it but only to find that it wont install on my system. It stated wrong version of Windows when I tried to run it.
2nd issue is that sometimes my mouse hourglass seems to be spinning for about 5 secs or so even there is no running or open programs and this can occur once in every 15 mins or so.
Hope someone who has experience on these can share their experience and fixes. Thank!
