    I accidentally removed windows defender... I downloaded it from microsoft.com and when I tried to install it it told me that I cannot install it that it already is in my computer.. but it isnt... what can I do?

    Don't use it and use much better third party software.

    I tried bitdefender and didnt like it. i dont know why... everyones loves it just not me... i need something simple thats not popping up every 5 minutes... any thoughts? or should i just stick to firewall? I dont download anything from limewire or kazaa or anything like that... only from some websites like gamespot, or windows

    If you bought the computer with Vista, then yes it would already have Windows Defender in it I believe.

    You could try System Restore... unless you turned it off.
